I would say it depends how the session progressed and if you were satisfied after the interaction or you felt she did not do a good job compared with in person visit. I, myself, study better when listening the music and if your psychologist still does her work efficiently, she can do both things at the same time. Yes, ideally your therapist should dedicate her entire time for you to get paid.

Since you have a long-standing relationship with your therapist, if you think she has been helping you and you wish to continue with her please tell her how you feel about hearing these sounds. It is important to feel comfortable to express yourself.
