I was given a strep and flu test and was told it was negative. and they said it was a common cold, but then resented and gave me antibiotics (amoxicillin). my concern is the mouth ulcers have been growing in back of my throat and above my uvula?

Mouth Ulcers: If caused by streptococcus b bacteria antibiotics should begin to eliminate the bacteria in just a few days. If you do not have bacterial infection antibiotics can reduce normal health bacterial levels allowing for fungal overgrowth. If you are concerned, return to your prescribing practitioner for reevaluation.
