A member asked:

Is it normal and common to have mouth ulcers or mouth aphtous during flu or infectious gastrointestinal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: May be two concurrent but unrelated problems. Flu or any other systemic disturbance can lower immunity, thus making you more prone to oral lesions. See your Physician to address your systemic problems. See your Dentist to address your oral lesions. You have to be properly diagnosed before correct treatment can be administered.
