Had swollen axillary lymph nodes for about 5 years, u/s normal, finally excised, two dark red bumpy nodes, 1=1cm 2=.5. sent for biopsy. any thoughts?

Most likely: reactive lymph nodes at these sizes, but occult malignancy is less likely possibility. Path exam of the excised lymph nodes should give definite answer, so you should wait for results.
