A member asked:

Is it possible to look for a swollen lymph node for biopsy without having another ct scan? i already had two abd/pelv ct scans in the past 3 months.

Why do you ask?: If you have no palpable lymph node for biopsy, and none's known, why get the biopsy? The one disease for which a node might be sought for the purpose is sarcoidosis, but if it's worth treating -- and commonly it isn't -- you'll have a mass or symptoms that will show what should be biopsied. Perhaps there's another way of answering your personal health questions, or even a misunderstanding.
