In usa in surgery for narrow angle closure can the holes be put anywhere other than 1&11 o'clock?is there ever a reason to put them in bottom of iris?

Best above: The hole can transmit light and if placed towards the bottom, will sometimes create a doubled image in certain conditions. Therefore unless the anatomy prevents placement above, almost all openings are made in a part of the iris normally covered by the upper lid.
