My son 16 heart beat 35&40/m my gp did a ecg and said it does not pick up a p line his on concerta but has been of the meds for 5 days should i worry?

Worrisome: Any kid that age with a heart rate in the 35-40/m range is worrisome. I would want them evaluated by a heart doctor (cardiologist for a conduction defect regardless of what meds they may be taking.
