Injured l. forearm, it's been x-rayed & it's not fractured. inner arm very bruised, tender to touch, hand swollen. bruise now moving to hand, why?

Bruised: Bleeding occurred at the injured site and blood has leaked down toward the hand because of gravity. I'm assuming you didn't injure the hand also. The discoloration is from breakdown products of blood and will take days to clear. Elevate your hand to reduce swelling. However don't hesitate to get your hand checked by a physician if swelling worsens or hand pain is present.
