A member asked:

If "feeling watched" by a real person (whether they have met or not) influences one's behavior when they are alone, are they hallucinating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No necessarily...: Within a few years, places like China may have more surveillance cameras than you want to believe. Some report that China may use over 600 million cameras to watch 1.3 billion people, or 1 camera watching every 2 people. Many other countries also have cameras in place, to watch and influence behavior. A person having psychiatric symptoms can get treatment. A normal person should fight for privacy.
