Nine yr old and four yr old girls with severe allergies, is it also possible to have a fever as well? or is it something else?

Something else: Allergies can increase drainage which can trap/feed germs and promote extra risk of infection. Allergies by themselves rarely trigger fever & if so it would be mild.
