You may be: developing a condition named neuralgia, which may be a result of inflammation of a cutaneous or deeper nerve, otherwise known as neuritis. Depending on the location of the nerve, the sharp pain can radiate through that part of the scalp/ face in waves or episodes. Need to get some diagnostics from a health provider and appropriate treatment. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
