A member asked:

Why are there no lymphatic vessels in the left side of the brain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lymph nodes: The central nervous system including the brain and spinal cord lack classical lymph vessels. There is a blood brain barrier to prevent or reduce the risk of infection entering the brain. The blood brain barrier may also explain why primary brain tumors rarely spread outside the brain.
