Bad cold started 4 weeks ago. ear infection developed and got a 10 day antibiotic. finished days ago but still sore throat and bad cough. what gives?

Drainage: The cough can linger for weeks but each week should be better than the last.The sore throat is likely a combination of irritation for the cough and also drainage from the nose.if on antibiotics anothr possibility of sore throat is thrush if have white patches on the tongue ane buccal mucosa.
