AAA anxiety: Abdominal aortic aneurysms are easily checked with an ultrasound of the abdomen and are pretty accurate as a screening test. If you're a man at the age of 65 you are eligible for this screening ultrasound through medicare. Risk factors for AAA include smoking, high blood pressure, and family history. Many vascular practices will offer AAA screening for a small fee if not covered by insurance.
