How long will it take for one single 500mg cephalexin to exit the body. not after a complete course of medication, but just after one single capsule?

A few hours: It will be gone within 12-24 hours. But probably doesn't matter much: not likely to be harmful. Even if you're allergic to it, most severe allergic reactions start within a couple of hours, so you're probably already past any potential risk.
