Ataxia, wobbly walk, imbalance, head pressure + push/pull sensations when exposed to bright fluorescent light... what could it be? ataxia can last for hours after exposure, is resolved by a night's sleep. no problem when avoiding the light. cause(s)?

Very odd: Light signals travel into the brain via the optic nerves which pass by the pituitary and pineal glands. I cannot think of a connection that goes as far back as the cerebellum, which manages coordination. It's time for a full workup including bloodwork and brain imaging. CT scan or MRI of the head with a neurology consultation will get you closer to your answer.
