High protein: low carbs (complex carbs like vegetables are good), and good fat (olive oil, coconut oil, not transfats in junk food). You body will burn fat more than sugar this way. It is called a Ketogenic Diet. Please as doctor about doing this. Movement is crucial. Walking is good. Peace and good health. Please see doctor first to see if this is a good food plan for you.
