I just had a cbc test done and was concerned because my monocytes were at 13%. the hemoglobin and htc were low as well as rbc and mcv. ?

Evaluation: You should see your doctor to be evaluated and have more blood test to find the cause so be treated.

Means nothing: The percentages are meaningless; all that matters is the absolute counts. If you feel and look well, monocytes aren't useful unless they're extremely out-of-range, which basically doesn't happen unless abnormal cells are being misidentified as monocytes. Now, anemia with a low MCV IS worrisome -- it's time for a good history & physical and some iron studies to start the workup..
