Type of arthritis: Adult Still's disease is a rare type of inflammatory arthritis which presents with fevers, rash and joint pain. Although some people have just one episode, in other people this condition persists or recurs. The inflammation associated with Still's disease can destroy affected joints, particularly the wrist joints. Treatment involves medications such as prednisone which helps control inflammation.
