Now Cranberry Juice: Drink lots of cranberry juice and water, and hot it will pass. If not, see a Urologist for a determination of how to remove this stone.

See your doctor: Overall, you need to be seen, and be followed by a doctor. You may not be drinking enough water to pass any stone Stones only form due to dehydration, and can cause abdominal pain and discomfort. So without pain meds, and hydration, it will be difficult for you to pass the stone, and very painful. Don't delay!

Painful: The pain of the discogram is limited to the test itself and usuall does not linger after completion, the pain is intense as it simulats an acute ruptured disc but for a breif time if the test is positive surgery usualy will fix the problem.

Yes: I you have pain to the extent that it is negatively affecting your quality of living or ability to function normally and your doctor has not taken you seriously, there must be a communication gap. If you feel that you have communicated your symptoms clearly to your doctor, find a new one. Make sure your complaints were not "by the way", consider making appointment just for pain consult.

Low Bak Pain: Initially for low back pain, i would start with ice and NSAID (ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin). If the cause is unknown or not associated with any activity, it is radiating out from the back or there is numbness, or the pain continues for more than a couple of days, worsens, or does not improve; you need to see your doctor.

Find the source: This is tough to answer without knowing the source. There are several things that can cause this type of pain so you should discuss these symptoms with your primary care physician.
