See below: Not uncommon to have some mild residual irritation and incomplete healing from either the procedure itself to remove your stone or from the stent that was placed even though removed 3 weeks ago. Sometimes persistent discomfort can be related to either a small stone fragment that remains and has not passed or due to a urinary tract infection. If worsens or does not resolve with time, contact MD.
