"Pelvic cyst": ovary: A "21 cm. pelvic cyst" , if ovarian in origin, needs to have surgical intervention, first to obtain a tissue diagnosis of the origin and potential for adverse effects, and second to deal with symptoms (back pain, etc.). If your healthcare provider has not made provision for this, obtain a referral to a gyn oncologist as soon as possible.
