Parotitis: Recurrent inflammation of the parotid glands in adults is not usually considered an autoimmune disorder but could be caused by bacterial infection or abnormalities of the parotid ducts. There is also a possibility that Sjogren's disease has developed. An Otolaryngologist and infectious disease specialist should be involved in your care.
