Should be walking: Each case is different, so a parent should reflect on what the baby's pediatrician said at the one-year-old check-up... regarding why the baby was not walking at age 1. Almost all babies stand up or walk before their first birthday. A few late walkers walk at 13 months. Parents can make an appointment to see the pediatrician again if not walking by 14 months. A specialist evaluation may be needed.
