Hydrocortisone: Maybe just a rash from irritation - try Hydrocortisone 1%. If does not help may need to see your doc as it could be fungal infection. In general the back of the knee tends to be moist and allergic rash as well as fungal infection are common.

Knee itch: Itching behind the knees can be caused by: xerotic eczema, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, infestations, infections, insect bites, obstructive biliary disease, chronic renal failure, medications, and neurodermatitis. I recommend you see your dermatologist for the proper diagnosis and treatment.

Eczema??: Do the insides of your elbows also itch? Do you have or is there a family history of allergy or dry skin? Have you talked to your doc about any of this? You can make a virtual appt to go over this in greater detail.
