A member asked:

Would my dentist or orthodontist immediately know and tell me if i have enamel erosion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Erosion: If incipient, might go unnoticed. If moderate to profound, yes, would be noticed and discussed with you. Don't wait for a problem to be noticed. If you think there is damage to your enamel, point it out at your next examination or adjustment.
