Could be permanent..: If you injured your scull - as bruise .Hematoma ( blood collection in subcutaneous tissue) heals over time - body uses its mechanism for absorbing it .But hematomas close to bone surface ( as shin, scull) May create persistent ” bump” due to deposits of calcium to hematoma as process of healing. Inflammation or hematoma attracts calcium . It become just cosmetic annoyance.
