May not be infection: Not all rashes are due to infection! antibacterial creams may help some bacterial infections, and antifungal creams may help if its a fungus, but if the rash is due to eczema or an autoimmune disease, or if it is an allergic reaction to a chemical or insect bite, then those creams will not help. I would recommend getting a consult with your Dr or dermatologist to determine the cause and treatment
