Unlikely: It is uncommon to transfer the herpes virus to the eye during oral herpes outbreaks (fever blister, cold sore). Once someone has been infected for months or years, the immune system prevents transmission of the virus to a new part of the body. The risk is not zero, and you should try to avoid eye rubbing during outbreaks. But the chance you'll actually infect your eye is very low.
