Watch for symptoms: It is unlikely that you infected your eye but if you get any redness, pain and photophobia than get it checked by an ophthalmologist asap.

Fever blister: See your eye doctor or family doctor for a prescription for a topical antiviral ointment that can be put in your eye. They may want to start you on an oral antiviral agent such as valtrex, (valacyclovir) as well. Start the treatment as soon as possible. These are prudent but precautionary steps to take.

Probably OK: Your body has immunity to herpes and you had zovirax (acyclovir) cream on your hand. The skin and eye surfaces as well were likely to have been intact. All of these together mean you will almost certainly not have a problem.
