A member asked:

Could you tell me what hormone is produced by the kidney in response to a drop in blood pressure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BP drop hormones: When your blood pressure drops, your kidneys secrete renin which leads to the production of angiotensin 2, which is a potent vasoconstrictor. This constriction of the arteries raises bp. Aldosterone is also secreted which causes sodium retention, raising bp, in response to renin secretion by the kidney.
