Kidney stones: While the kidneys do have a roll in regulating blood pressure, it is unlikely that the presence of non-obstructing stones in the kidney would increase blood pressure. The passage of stones into the ureter often results in excruciating pain, which in turn, can raise blood pressure.

Kidney stones and BP: Are usually not directly related ----- Stones are formed from alterations in urine chemistry as urine is formed. Lack of citrate, excess calcium, excess oxalate, excess uric acid all contribute; if a stone causes pain, then hi BP can result;
