Get 2nd Opinion: It is normal to be concerned about the success rates, risks and side effects of surgery, especially when it is not reversible. You need to weigh these concerns with how severe your condition is, and what if any other treatment options there are. My advice is for major non urgent surgeries, to always get a second opinion from another Orthopedic foot/ankle specialist. Take Care!
