How long before i have bone fusion surgery on my foot do i need to stop taking suboxone so that i may use the pain medication they provide initially. ?

Suboxone: This really depends on the anesthesiologist and the surgeon. Personally I do not stop the suboxone and I add an additional analgesic ( I like Nucynta (tapentadol) IR) to assist with post-op pain. TENS can also be used as well as Exparel injected around the incisions.
