A member asked:

What are the cause of yellow spot on eye?is it jaundice or pinguecula?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pinguecula: These are yellow spots horizontally next to the cornea at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Jaundice stains the sclera so the entire white of the eye becomes yellow.
