My sin had his adenoids removed yesterday and today he has very heavy breathing. is this normal?

S/p adenooids: http://www.entnet.org/content/tonsillectomy-and-adenoids-posto https://www.childrenshospital.vanderbilt.org/services.php?mid=7291 Depends how heavy and how fast he is breathing.There is some post-op swelling but if he has trouble speaking / completing sentences, has decrease motion due to poor oxygenation go immediately to the ER or call 911. In any event call the doctor today and discuss.
