My plantar fasciitis is getting better i want to prevent it from returning. is it ok to buy cheap shoes but wear gel insoles in them?

Plantar: Good footwear is important in preventing plantar fasciitis and proper inserts should also be helpful. Resist the temptation of buying poor footwear. A podiatrist can be very helpful in the management of plantar fasciitis.

Plantar fasciitis: Thin, poor support and cushioning to shoes is not something you want with plantar fasciitis, so I would avoid those. Some gel soles are ok, but make sure they are decent and enough in terms of cushioning in the right place.

Planter fasciitis : Yes it is ok to buy shoes cheap as the sports running shoes do go on significant sale. No need to buy expensive dress shoes. But reputed company running shoe when cheap.i am glad you are feeling better.

NO!: The support your feet need is from the WHOLE SHOE NOT just the insoles! The repetitive trauma cheap insoles cause is not fully compensated by the gel inserts!!!!...they are NOT" stable" enough! My opinion only Hope it helps! Dr Z
