I have a freckle on the side of my hand that has just recently gotten bigger. it looks like a smudge of chocolate. it used to be a lot darker & rounder too. should i be concerned? thanks.

Precaution: Is needed with these coloured lesions. May just be a maturing mole but the saying is "if in doubt check it out". Please consult with someone urgently and show them the mole, or if available in your area virtual consult is ok. As a GP I'd much rather check something that turns out to be nothing than miss something nasty
