More info needed: We need to have more details about your left sided discomfort. Sciatica causing discomfort in the left buttock and leg can also be accompanied by discomfort in the left lower back from disc disease. Other causes of left sided discomfort would be kidney or descending colon pathology. Consult your physician for evaluation. Appropriate tests can be ordered.
