Good idea, but...: ...not because of cancer. It's smart for anyone your age (64) to have "final papers in order", i.e. to make end-of-life plans and desires for care. But most people survive at least a few months and often many years after cancer diagnosis, so there's plenty of time. The bigger risk is heart disease, stroke, and other problems that can come on suddenly or rapidly become disabling.
