4 weeks ago my tsh levels were 8.8, they changed my synthroid from 0.125 to 0.150.. now my levels are 0.7.. is this a normal drop in only 4 weeks?

Yes it should be: TSH responds to blood thyroid hormone levels very quickly. So the drop in TSH in your case is real and yes it usually takes place in 3-4 weeks time. You should be OK on this dose of synthroid.
