? side effect: of cholesterol medication, a common one, you can hold the medicine for few days and see, while watching your diet (increase fiber intake, like metamucil, etc..) . I am not sure of the dose and your lipid profile, but you can confer with your doctor re holding the medicine, and whether s/he can prescribe you an alternative, best wishes
