A member asked:

Can my child run a 60 metre race with cold symptoms? 8 years old. stuffy nose

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: If an 8-year-old could run the race before catching a cold, he or she likely can run the race with a cold, because cold symptoms are usually mild. If he or she feels too tired, or just doesn't want to run the race, there shouldn't be any big reason to have to run the race... being only an 8-year-old.
