See doctor...: See your doctor asap. Whether or not you can run a marathon in a few days will depend on the severity of your symptoms and whether or not they can be controlled sufficiently by sunday. For example, if you have only mild nasal congestion that may be treatable allowing you to run but if your oxygen level is low at rest, it may not be under adequate control by sunday to allow you to run. See doctor!

Be careful: Not much different than training with a cold. Be aware that you will not be at your peak performance -- sorry about the 21 wks, but you cannot be at peak. You must go slowly and guage your body's response as you go. Be prepared to walk and even drop out. You want to live to see another one. Perhaps you can find another one in a few weeks, and allow yourself to get better. You will enjoy it more.

Consult Dr.: You don't want to jeopardize your health for a long period by challenging your immune system, etc. by running the marathon. You may be more susceptible to injury and other problems by running it. It is frustrating so I would talk to your Dr. asap
