Maybe: The reason to get a flu shot each year is because millions of people get the flu where you live. That means flu shots may not be needed if there is very little influenza where you live. For travellers, it depends on the season of travel and where they are going. Flu season in the US is Dec-Jan-Feb, but travellers can get shots for March to feel safer even though March is not be a big flu month.
