6 months old: Centers for Disease Control & Prevention aka CDC recommend annual influenza vaccination aka flu shot for everyone older than 6 months in all states, including Texas, since 2010. Check out http://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/qa/flushot.htm for more info. Check out http://www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/whoshouldvax.htm#flu-shot for exceptions to rule.
