Tonsillar Crypts: You may have enlarged tonsillar crypts. These "holes" are pockets that may hold food and can cause chronic bad breath due to decomposing food. You should visit your primary doctor to evaluate these and possibly visit the ear, nose, and throat doctor to remove them if they continue to cause discomfort. Antibiotics do not resolve this issue.
