Hello, i've had a sore throat for three days now but it doesn't hurt at all nor does it bother me but it's still there. what could this be? thank you

Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Sore throats can heal on their own, but antibiotics are used for strep throat.
