A member asked:

Is there a possibility that a person with tb history could have levoscoliosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Certainly: Anybody can have scoliosis, TB history or not. It usually originates in the rapid growth of adolescence for unknown reasons. It becomes stable after growth stops unless there is another reason for change. There is a remote possibility that someone with Potts disease, or TB of the spine, might develop some, but this is the exception rather than the rule. The TB germ prefers to infest the lungs.
