See details: If the pain is significant, have the wrists evaluated. If it is a minor issue, then ignore it.

Sprained?: You might have sprained your wrists by lifting or straining them too vigorously. If you use your wrists a lot , you may also be having some arthritis in these joints. The best treatment would be avoiding activities which caused the problem is the first place. See orthopedist if problem becomes disabling or intolerably painful. NSAID (oral or topical), ice/heat pad may also be tried for relief.
